✨ tiny drop 002 - a fresh onboarding
till last week, signing up for pointscasa was 2 fields and a redirect. name, dob, dashboard. good luck.
doesn't really work when most people opening the app have never booked an award flight before.
so we spent the entire last week rebuilding our onboarding from scratch. went back to the drawing board more times than i can count before it felt... "just right."
now we do a quick walkthrough of what pointscasa actually does and ease you into this world of points and miles.
less "fill this form," more "welcome to this world, we got you ❤️"

✨ tiny drop 001
starting a small series where i share tiny improvements we make to @pointscasa.
for the longest time, our optimiser could tell you the best way to book with your points.
but “best” is personal.
maybe you want to preserve a card balance. maybe you don’t want to touch a specific program. maybe you only want to use part of a balance.
so we built balance mix.
turn programs on/off, cap how many points to use, and watch the transfer plan rebalance live.
built straight outta feedback from our whatsapp community.
@jatinsapra@HSBC_IN@hopper Same experience with my Wyndham Chennai booking - the hotel refused, but Hopper refunded me without any hassle. Just had to provide the payment receipt of a separate payment made to Wyndham.
Never had an issue with Hopper for bookings or refunds.
