#NaPoWriMoxAyaskala
if you’re a woman who wants to write, rest, and be in this kind of space, this is for you. three days in the mountains you’ll carry with you long after.
the first edition happened in dehradun earlier this year and it was amazing. that’s why we’re doing it again. this time in bir, himachal pradesh, first week of october. mornings, writing, conversation, evenings watching the most beautiful sunsets.
these offline retreats are spaces where women come together, from all over the country. your day starts with meditation, yoga, or a walk. you write, reflect, and create throughout the day. there’s time to be on your own, time to connect, and space to learn alongside others.
in the last 5 years, ayaskala has published the work of 500+ writers. and every april, over 1500 poems come in from across the world.
i was there in the early days too, designing the logo, the covers, etc. i’ve seen her passion for poetry & women-only community up close.
Vaishnavi is the Editor-In-Chief of Ayaskala. She has mentored and published over 500 poets. At the retreat, she will facilitate the participants to introspect and find their creative voice while empowering them with tools to structure them into publishable poems.
Sanya is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist. Her work has been exhibited across India, featured in magazines, & collected by art enthusiasts. At this retreat, Sanya’s sessions invite women to pause, play, and uncover parts of themselves that may have been waiting to be seen.
You get:
