Aya is awarded $50,000 via Birth Center Equity's Open Doors Initiative! BCE supports BIPOC birth centers in all phases of operation. Aya will use this grant to push forward in the R&D phase of opening NC's first Black midwife-led Birth & Wellness Center Q4 2023. Thank you BCE!

Midwives are trained to provide care for low-risk pregnant people. They know what's normal and how to recognize when things go outside the ranges of low-risk. Aya treats the whole person going through a natural, physiologic process of the human body.
