The problem with Nigerians is you all actually think you have the same problem as Ghana , South Africa and co
We’re literally on the same level as Congo , South Sudan if not worse .
1. Bakkassi boys where not in existence under Obi era, they exited only b/w 1999 to 2003. 🤦🏽
2. The demolitions of buildings of criminals was actually signed, passed & carried out by Obi himself not Obiano. 🤦🏾♂️
If Oshiomole does not know “basic history”, how is he a Senator?
“Any society you see people in government doing better than entrepreneurs, then it is a failed country. That’s why our country is not working.”
~HE Peter Obi
2 Major Generals,
2 Brigadier Generals,
and the full might of the nation, including mobilizing and arming civilians, has still not been brought to bear upon these terrorists?
🇳🇬The current Nigerian government’s economic policies are a vicious and calculated assault on the Nigerian people — imposing endless taxes without any meaningful development or relief. This is high-level treason and deliberate national self-destruction.
African elites aren’t simply weak or corrupt, they are structurally positioned to serve foreign interests because that’s where their class power came from.
Their wealth depended on keeping the extraction system intact.
What Tinubu is implementing today has been tried before. IBB tried the implementation of SAP. And after 4 years, it failed woefully. Bola Tinubu is implementing SAP 2.0 & it will end in tears. SAP is a program of the IMF. Listen to this & retweet for others. Know your history.
2 important dots to connect:
1986: IMF Structural Adjustment Program in Nigeria mandates Babangida to liberalise Nigeria's news media and information space. Foreign ownership and funding of mass media is permitted in Nigeria for the first time.
2026: 40 years later, after 2 generations of post-SAP Nigerians have been marinated in American-funded news, "education" and entertainment media for their entire lives, most Nigerians now believe they are Deputy Americans, and hold their primary allegiance to a country they have never been to on another continent. They now support openly imperialist actions by the US and would happily grind their own mothers into paste if the US president tells them to.
Bonus point: The US government owns 17% of the IMF, which requires an 85% voting majority to take decisions. This means the US holds veto power in the IMF, and the IMF is functionally an extension of US foreign policy.
The last time I was in Lagos I paid to enter a beach in Lekki.
Not a resort. Not a water park. A beach.
Sand. Water. A coastline that existed long before any of us were born.
Someone bought it. Fenced it. Put a gate on it. Now you pay to touch the ocean.
What kind of government sells its people access to nature?
Happy Democracy Day. 🇳🇬
If you still think your leaders are just dumb or ignorant about the real value of the finished resources, you’re mentally stuck in the 1900s.
But if you recognize them as treasonous traitors who deserve the electric chair, then we are comrades.
Tinubu's failure is so obvious that his people are not saying that he has not failed. They are saying that nobody can fix Nigeria and that everyone should give up on Nigeria.
Those guys are pathetic.
