@is_glasgow It did indeed re-open in the early 70's to accommodate First and Second year pupils. I was one of those pupils. I enjoyed the pool. I think that it was also used in 1972 to accommodate Ugandan refugees.
@Halfords_uk Just had a diagnostics check. No problems with the check itself, but disappointed that there is no print out or report of the check. This should be made clear to customers!
@Scottishsultan1@angryaboutbikes You have a legal rights to access your personal medical records and this must be provided free of charge unless the request is unreasonable or excessive.
@AnasSarwar Given the statutory pupose of the Equality Act why are you focussing specifically on sex a a protected characteristic and not the overarching principles? Tell us how you will respect all protected chracteristics.
@mathladyhazel The missing and misleading information is the problem. Which is why you need more than the answer, you need the "working out" One board, One Cut, Two pieces. One cut takes 10 minutes. Two cuts will take 20 minutes where the same length of cut is made in each example.
@darthjambo@stephenwhittle Domestic violence and abuse, coercion and control can be present in all relationships. Lesbians, gay men, trans people often self exclude from formal services because they know that their experiences are invisible and discredited because of their sexual orientation or gender.
@AlexNeilSNP Why do you think that he should be suspended ? What would be the grounds for suspension in law? Do you think jumping on the bandwagon of the vilification of a member of the judiciary is appropriate? Maybe your party leader can enlighten us @ScotGovFM
@boswelltoday@thetimes article states that quote re Lee v Asher is not in original judgement. It is however in the IRLR headnote on the case. It is not made up. Many judgements cite and quote headnotes from Law Reports.
@boswelltoday The @thetimes article is misleading and this should be corrected. E.g. Games v University of Kent. It is alleges that the quote in the cited source is not in the judgement. Incorrect. See screenshots below.
@Jebadoo2 It is a direct quote from the Industrial Relations Law Reports headnote. It accurately reflects the court's balancing approach. See Lee v Ashers [2019] IRLR 99 (SC) (subscription only)
@michaelpforan@MichaelForan So, what happened? Did Judge Kemp rely on material from the bundles that was inaccurate? Are the principles still sound even if the citations are confusing?
@michaelpforan@MichaelForan The actual quote ( as I understand it) The phrase โThere is no hierarchy of rights..." is contained in IRLR headnote for Lee v Ashers [2019] IRLR 99 (SC). It does not appear verbatim in the Supreme Courtโs transcript on BAILII or the UKSC site
