@localrach@NYCMayor And I get that, but what about the educators? Especially those who have far commutes? The DOE literally called us “childcare” in a post earlier, but that’s not what my degree is in… there has to be a better way to get kids meals than risking teachers’/students’ safety
@NYCMayor “Proceed with caution” but schools are open tomorrow… makes no sense. Especially with the potential for black ice in the morning. Definitely not feeling safe as an educator.
@DOEChancellor So because not all students had devices you decided everyone should just go in person? As a teacher, this is an insanely irresponsible decision. Staff can’t just stay home, and this decision puts them at risk.
@MattDowellTV As a tennis fan, I find it incredibly disrespectful to legitimate doubles players. The format as an exhibition tournament could be fun, with the addition of more actual doubles pairs. But at the US Open…. No.
Iga and Casper talking to each other right behind Vavassori as he gives his speech… I guess you can win titles without having any class or respect. Standing right behind them on camera too. Horrible! #USOpen
didn’t even know there was an election going on. as a registered voter in the state of pennsylvania, i wish someone could text me 12-15 times a day in an increasingly desperate tone about this upcoming event, which i had forgotten about
