You have to ask yourself why Glasgow is so keen to host the Colonial Games again, at taxpayers' expense.

For the first time since the Commonwealth Games started in the 1950s the state-broadcaster, paid for by the public, WILL NOT be providing their usual coverage of the Games in Glasgow this summer.
Most BBC budget & investment is spent on London & the South East of England & not in Scotland.
A few years ago the BBC all but ignored a huge international cycling event in Glasgow, which was hugely popular.
Clearly the BBC only interested in talking Scotland down, not investing in content here in Scotland @BBCScotland
Other foreign broadcasters will be covering the games.
