This is where I always have issues with Breaking Bad fans. I don’t agree that it’s boring. It’s a very good show, but calling it the best series is a serious stretch. It’s not even top 5.

You see Ronaldo in Madrid is the highest individual peak a player has touched ever in the history of this sport. The most inevitable anyone will ever be.

451 goals + 131 assists in 438 competitive appearances. That’s more than a goal per game. Became Real Madrid highest goalscorer in 9 years. 312 La Liga goals, 105 Champions League goals, 34 La liga hat-tricks, 44 hat-tricks in total. I don’t think people understand how crazy that is.

But the crazy part isn’t even the 451 goals. It is when and how he scored them.

This man turned the Champions League knockout stages into his personal playground. Real Madrid won 4 Champions Leagues during his time there, and Ronaldo scored 34 knockout stage goals across those 4 title winning campaigns. In 2016/17 alone, he scored a hat-trick against Bayern, another against Atletico Madrid and then scored twice in the final against Juventus.

He finished as the Champions League’s top scorer 6 consecutive seasons, from 2012/13 through 2017/18. Think about that for a second. 6 straight years of being the highest scorer in the biggest club competition in football.

He did all these in 9 freaking years. Just 9.

And the most beautiful thing about it is that he didn’t arrive at Madrid as the finished product. We actually watched him become this monster.

From the skinny, explosive winger who arrived from Man U to the No.7 who eventually became the most ruthless finisher, athlete and big game players the game has ever seen.

That’s the highest individual peak anyone can touch.
