@Chibettor@J_Dubb93@dandakich Watching a team run sets doesn’t bother me. Better than seeing a high pick-n-roll every time. I wonder if college coaches have noticed Indiana kids falling behind with no clock. I’ve heard others say it, just not coaches.
@J_Dubb93@dandakich I get it. We work on end of game/qtr situations in practice. End of shot clock could come in to play multiple times a game. Players/coaches would eventually get there. Just no experience with it, so it’s hard to say how it would go
@SchutteDustin Bad example. That’s the 234th ranked team beating the 285th ranked team in a sec final. That is a result of class basketball and private/charter school creation. Not shot clock issue. They are just trying to win a Sectional
@J_Dubb93@dandakich Serious question @J_Dubb93 What makes it a better game with a shot clock, in your experience? As a fan? A coach? Official? Parent? Just curious
@Coach__Strick I think it is interesting how close the NJ vote was. It was not a slam dunk. In Ind, coaches were ok with it but Admins were not. Much like Class basketball 25+ yrs ago… hesitant to change
@JPrestonSports@slaag1yaho45146@trigonis30 NCAA has the common voice, money and representation. The athletes may only have Title IX. Seems like the athletes could benefit from representation like the pro sports do.
@JPrestonSports@slaag1yaho45146@trigonis30 I think it is better now than it was. Thinking with the current system, there needs to be some representation to balance both the players and NCAA. Right now it seems too much to NCAA
@slaag1yaho45146@JPrestonSports@trigonis30 Josh, yes please explain. Does that mean you think players should organize, so they can collectively bargain? Can non-rev sports be under the same collective? Women / men sports under the same collective?
@lt4kicks Coaches sign a contract, and have to work to that contract. Players have not organized nor created a similar employee/employer relationship. What do you suggest?
@rhenry3808@ProudUSA76@bigten In real time, I thought ugly, but clean. Watching replay, I could see potential travel. Clearer view would help. IU needs breaks to go their way…. Today they didn’t
@rhenry3808@ProudUSA76@bigten Actually thought he regained control of the ball w/ right foot = pivot foot. Then pulled the ball through the 2 defenders to make the pass… but after he lifted and put his pivot foot back down. Travel (not why IU lost)
@Seyton13@MattGlenesk Guard play, or the lack there of, is what I see for that record. You can blame Woody for that because of his misses on recruiting, but that does not diminish how well Ware developed and played last year.
@DrGridiron_MD Penalty yes. Ejection no. Did not launch himself. Did not hit with his helmet. And by the way, I am a football fan and care about player safety. Disagree with the ejection. Disagree with your opinion
