@dihassss Limiting the things you can search on google is truly a big issue as many people and companies rely on it. Most of the time google is the first place people go to in order to search up things and limiting that acess by removing some searches can be detrimental.

Snapchat recently had started adding watermark to its AI images in hopes to not create confusion among users in regards to what is real or fake seeing as many people have taken advantage of this new technology. Many people disagreed with this.

The article mentions the idea that although we want to become more advanced in creating diversity in our families many people do not want to adopt. Instead there are many people genetically picking how their kids will end up looking.

@Dominique25889 I think this is a good law that should be implied in other places as well. Social media has definitely damaged a lot of kids especially since there has been an increase in online bullying and suicides among younger kids. I see this law being effective in less kids online.

I think being off your phone during school hours is important yet in a place like America where there is school shootings, it becomes scary not having contact with your kids. You fear for them and yourself when unable to call them.

It is hard to understand why some countries especially high income ones still do not have the same equal health care for all people. I have noticed that many minorities are discriminated when asking for medical help compared to other races.

This new AI has become questionable as we are unsure of where exactly the data is collected from. Apart from that AI has been able to generate videos that have misleading information calling into question authenticity.

@ttrancsulb This new breach in the contract between Tiktok and UMG has financially impacted lots of artists who relied on it. Not only that, there are many creators out there who depend on the music to keep their content going. It’s upsetting as it takes away so much from people.

I think the beauty standard has definitely been shifted and changed by all these new cosmetics surgeries. I can be one to say that just because someone is able to change the way they look to feel better they should not be shamed for it. It is sad

@ttrancsulb I think I have not seen a single app that does not have adds. Every app you open there are ads right away trying to sell you something. Most companies today just want to keep monetizing off its users allowing capitalism to continue to grow. Everything has become commercialized.

I think that the idea of muting music on tiktok because of a disagreement is not only affecting the artists, but other content creators. Most people on tiktok make money because of the videos they share with the music. #BeachSMC

I honestly have heard so much about AI in the last year especially after chatGPT. It definitely has started growing and spreading around since now many softwares have AI bots and many rely on it. Hopefully the elections dont! #BeachSMC
