We demand immediate action from the governors of both states. It is your duty to protect your people. We call for the urgent deployment and collaboration with Amotekun and the Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) to safeguard lives and restore order.

The people of Oke-Ode and surrounding communities in Kwara South are under siege. The people are being slaughtered, homes are being abandoned, and fear has become the daily bread. Many innocent lives, fathers, mothers, children, gone. Wiped out. Displaced. Silenced forever by the bullets of bandits.

And what do we get in return?

From Senator Lola Ashiru, the so called representative in the National Assembly, NOTHING 🤌🏽.

From Governor AbdulRahman Abdurrazaq @RealAARahman , the Chief Security Officer of the state, NOTHING 🤌🏽

No statement.
No visit.
No show of concern.
No urgency.
Just silence and spineless inaction.

Let it be known: Silence in the face of slaughter is betrayal.
If you cannot raise your voice when your people are being buried in mass graves, what then is your purpose in office?

This is not a time for weak political diplomacy or media distractions. This is not about party or opposition. This is about human lives, and the obligation of leadership to defend them.

We are not begging.

We are demanding, with every strength in our voice:

In the midst of this chaos, rather than seeing urgent and transparent action from your office, what we have observed instead is finger-pointing, distraction, and a concerted effort to silence those raising their voices for justice.

Until the people of Kwara are safe, there will be no silence.

What your office must understand is this, leadership is not about optics or media statements, it is about responsibility. It is about showing empathy, decisiveness, and being present in times of crisis. It is about owning the consequences of inaction, not delegating blame or hiding behind political maneuvering.

You were not elected to manage narratives, you were elected to safeguard lives and govern rightly.

The attempt to downplay the gravity of this crisis by emissaries to "tone down" our voices is not saddening. Every moment wasted in political posturing costs lives, dignity, and the very soul of Kwara State. If the government cannot provide security, if it cannot show empathy, if it cannot offer solutions, then it must be held accountable.

This letter is not a plea. It is a demand for immediate, transparent, and decisive action. We demand:

✅A clear and public address from your office acknowledging the crisis and outlining practical steps to protect displaced citizens. THIS IS A MUST.
✅A coordinated humanitarian response for those affected.
✅Concrete security interventions to restore safety and order.
✅An end to the intimidation and silencing of concerned voices.

Your Excellency, history will remember how leaders responded when their people needed them most. The people of Kwara are watching. Nigeria is watching. The world is watching.

We will not be silent until the people are safe.
