If I was ever pushed to the brink of suicide I would just leave society and become a monk. Or I would live several months of absolute hedonism into my demise.
Lindsay Clancy owned a book called “Good Moms Have Scary Thoughts.”
The author attempts to normalize these thoughts by saying 90% of new mothers will have scary, intrusive thoughts about their baby and themselves.
I’m sorry but you can never convince me that is true.
I feel like so much damage is being done by this normalizing of abnormal things. They do the same thing with “sex work”. They try to destigmatize it and make women feel empowered to do it. In doing so it actually puts women at risk because it is dangerous and shouldn’t be normalized!!
Good moms don’t have scary thoughts. Moms suffering from a serious mental health issue do and they need to get help immediately! Does it mean they are a bad mom? No, that’s not what I’m saying at all! But they DO need help if they are having scary or intrusive thoughts. They shouldn’t be reading a book normalizing it.
