I haven't used this app in more than 2 years, but I didn't know where else to go:
It would be really nice if the people over at @MSNBC could stop calling "recession" the "r-word" π
@GruwidgeA Are you talking about the Halloween background with the skeletons in the back? I assumed it was on purpose. Suggesting AI was "evil." In a weird ironic way. It's really weird they would do that otherwise, considering any half decent graphic designer could have done better.
@NYCTSubway Thank you, I know when to call 911. However, working on preventing accidents from happening is better than trying to fix them after the fact.
@NYCTSubway The wait's not the problem. Everyone's used to waiting. The issue is the lack of communication/announcement which created a hazardous situation for hundreds of people on the platform. Please forward this information to someone who can make sure it doesn't happen again
@Derrick_NYC Yes, thank you, I am aware. This would have been helpful half an hour ago when a crowd of people was stuck on the platform with nowhere to go and people at the back had started to push.
@NYCTSubway About time! People have been waiting for about an hour with no update! The Manhattan bound platform has ONE exit. There's barely space for passengers to get off any incoming train. People could have been crushed!
@NYCTSubway Can y'all announce it for the people waiting on the Z at Chambers? The announcement only said that there's an injured passenger, and that we'd be moving shortly. If it's good enough to be published on twitter, I'm sure the train operators should be able to announce it too!
Ramadan Mubarak! #ramadan#spellingbee#hivemind#roza#Nytspellingbee
Roza is a Persian word meaning "day," and is used by Muslims in South Asia specifically to refer to an entire day of fasting. The Arabic word for fasting during Ramadan is "sawm."
@abmartinson@thegridkid I have noticed that with some other words too! Also, some British spellings are acceptable but others are not. We're all at the mercy of @thegridkid π
