Salam Alaykoum,
Something I see a lot with AI SaaS products : the user tries it for 2 minutes and never comes back.
The first few minutes decide everything.
Three simple things that change that :
Memory. People don't switch AI tools because they've built months of context in their current one. Give them a prompt to copy-paste into their current AI, extract what you need, import it. They don't start from zero.
Concrete examples from the start. Empty interface = the user doesn't know what to do. Give them something ready in one click, already set up for your product. Coding AI ? "Build a small game". UX AI ? "Analyze https://t.co/4bjzJJgUND". They see what it does before they even understand the tool.
A CTA after each action. The AI responded, now what ? Suggest the next step. Users want a co-pilot, not something that just waits to be asked.
I'm currently building a node tool , the Ui is very easy , but the ux is an horror. I have to think aaaall the process of complex structure to chose right the propertys of each nodes
Big realization this week:
I've joined a small network of local creatives.
Most of them don't even have an X account.
What they consider "good" is
online considered way below standard.
Meanwhile online I constantly compare myself to the
best in the world (and obviously fall short).
What I consider "good" is light-years ahead.
The skill gap locally and internationally is insane.
X might be a bubble, yes
But if you are "good" online you'll crush it locally.
@AdityaSur11 Thatโs coool , but what if the name button was on the middle ? For me itโs a bit perturbing that the button is on the right but your action appear on the left you see what I mean ? But I love your design
