This is what @DoItBetty was suggesting we grow in Kajiado (and other dry parts of the country). Agave nectar is used to make:

1. Table Sugar
2. Fermented to make tequila

It takes 210L of water to grow 1kg of sugarcane
Agave is a desert crop, watering is 2-3 times a month
