I remember when Arsenal were the banter club.

We celebrated finishing in the top four like it was a trophy. Whether it came down to the final day of the season or was secured a few games earlier, that was the standard we had accepted. The Premier League title felt out of reach, and in the Champions League and domestic cups, we were often just participants rather than genuine contenders.

Rival fans never let us forget it.

Going to school, work, or anywhere after an Arsenal defeat was a nightmare. Chelsea, Manchester United, and Liverpool fans had a field day mocking us, and there was rarely any mercy.

Then came the transfer windows.

Every summer and winter brought anxiety because we never knew which of our best players would be sold next. Watching our stars leave became a painful routine, and it often felt like Arsenal were a stepping stone rather than a destination.

Fast forward to today, and look how much has changed.

Mikel Arteta has rebuilt this club from the ground up. He has created a squad filled with unity, hunger, and togetherness. There are no oversized egos, just players who constantly speak about family, culture, and fighting for one another.

The transformation has been remarkable.

A huge credit goes to Arteta for restoring Arsenal to where the club belongs, and to the Kroenke family for trusting the process when many were calling for drastic changes.

The clubs that once cherry-picked our best players now know that prying away any of our key stars would require an astronomical fee. Arsenal are no longer a selling club, they are a club that others aspire to compete with.

The dreams we once had as fans are now becoming our reality.

From hoping for top four to expecting title challenges. From making up the numbers in Europe to believing we can win it all.

What a journey.
