Re-watched REACHER Season One.

Having been depressed since the last 2-3 episodes of S4, I decided to just take a look at Season one, episode one, and I could not stop. The pace is 5X faster that S4, the dialogue is crisp and smart. Reacher is a genius in S1, he figures things out ahead of everyone in town, miles ahead. He crushes every villain, including South American special forces.

I recommend to everyone, re-watch Season One, it is awesome, and it is why Reacher is great!!

Since I watched Maternal Instinct on Netflix, my algorithm has been doing the absolute most. Now another murder case involving a woman who has been on death row for over 30 years has landed on my feed.

Christa Pike was 18 when she and two other teenagers murdered 19-year-old Colleen Slemmer, a fellow Job Corps student, in Tennessee in 1995. Pike was sentenced to death in 1996 and is now 50.

She is scheduled to be executed by lethal injection today, September 30, 2026, and if carried out, she will become the first woman executed by Tennessee in more than 200 years.

What caught my attention is that Pike requested an all female execution team. Her case has also drawn attention because of her age at the time of the crime, her history of abuse, and the fact that her co-defendants received different sentences.

When Hal told John that the sheriff k1lled him, I initially thought he was just messing with him.

But think about it...

Hal has spent the entire season talking about trusting his instincts and following his intuition. And so far, those instincts haven't exactly failed him.

So what if that wasn't a joke?📺📺📺

John Stewart used Mogo to test Hal’s memory.

When Hal’s hologram asks about his funeral, John casually tells him that Mogo was there.

Sounds harmless at first, especially if you don’t know much about the Green Lantern Corps.

But Hal immediately knows John is lying.

Mogo isn’t a person who could attend a funeral.

Mogo is an entire planet.

That means John wasn’t really talking about the funeral. He was testing whether this version of Hal would know that Mogo couldn’t have been there.

And when Hal catches the lie, John gets his answer.

The hologram only has Hal’s memories from when the backup was created in 2006.

John basically found a way to test how old Hal’s memories were without ever asking him directly.
