One thing I noticed after going through my journal, is the confession of life being hard as fuck.
I also got the constant reminder that you need to be harder as fuck to thrive.
At the end, I came to conclusion of life being the hardest part of existence is very much needed for the preservation of life.
To put every human in their place—to remind humans that we’re as puny and insignificant in as much as we’re important to the continuity of life.
the movie obsession is a very thought-provoking one for so many reasons and i’m glad for its immense success
my takeaway from this movie is that every attempt to force love destroys the very thing that makes love meaningful: choice
it’s comically interesting how women tell men they’re behaving like women especially after letting them do what they like
this simply tells you to remain firm on your leadership
if she constantly questions it, she’s not the one and that doesn’t make her ‘evil’
she’s just not her
Family has to be everything.
Showing up for your parents and siblings is one of life’s greatest privileges.
I’m always reminded of how fortunate I am when I see people who don’t have the best relationships with the families they come from
It fills me with gratitude for mine
until the belief you invented out of nothing but your imagination has been hammered into the world so many times that it stops being a ‘thought’ and becomes reality. life will be left no other choice but to let you have it your way.
you should believe you are special and then go so hard, for so long, with such violent refusal to accept any other pathetic ending, that reality itself starts running out of ways to tell you no. you must wage a war daily against the ordinary outcome ⬇️
