Another disturbing video has surfaced showing the harsh conditions under which some soldiers, tasked with defending the nation, are reportedly living in camps and remote operational areas.

According to the soldiers, despite an alleged monthly feeding allocation of ₦60,000 per personnel, the food supplied to them is grossly inadequate.

> “For one month, for 9 soldiers, we were given:

• 5 pieces of fish
• 1 paint of garri
• 1 paint of beans
• A bag of spoiled potatoes
• 1 litre of palm oil
• 4 tubers of yam
• A few onions and other small items.”

The soldiers lamented that such rations are nowhere near enough to sustain personnel deployed in demanding and dangerous environments, raising fresh concerns about the welfare of troops on the frontlines.
