Co-worker so irritating, kinda blamin’ me how i didn’t see a big bruise when I admitted d pt. like gurl, i admitted d pt. 15 days ago. i saw a pinpoint excor. to the butt & ur tellin me i missed a 17x10cm bruise...patawa much...i know how to do a complete admission 🤪🤪🤪

Toxic shift at work today. Had to call police d/t disruptive and threatening patient’s family. 😤 Scary situation... ugh

Tiring shift, wound vacc changed...vanco administration plus 2 new admits on shift. No to mention newly admitted pt. is my manager’s mom ugh..

Doctor forgot to send C2 form to pharmacy, so no med delivery. had to pull narcotics from my e-kit...so much work, calling doctor and pharmacist and faxing stuff...ugh and it happened before end of shift 😫

As a nurse documentation is really impt. I hate docum. esp. IR’s (re:fall, skin issues, etc.) but getting this text from my DON/boss makes me want to work harder and be a better nurse. Although sometimes it is hard, i try to strive everyday to be a better version of myself. 🙂

When newly admitted patient fall!!! Plus on isolation..neurochecks q15 mins x 1hr then hourly for 4hrs. Don/doff PPE all the time. My gosh.
