The gimmick is that if an Astral Express character uses it, they give Himeko a buff and then get to take an Extra Turn, so they can then also use their own Skill/BA

It's just people latching onto what they wanna hear, regardless of who is saying it or why. Ralsei is feminine, but he's done nothing to indicate he wants to outright be female.

...but in a scene, Rouxls Kaard puts him in a princess dress and Ralsei says "I can be a princess sometimes, if that's what other people want," which sounds quite Toby for "HE'S NOT TRANS" to me

Kris' story is about defying the player's control, a creature inside of them that cares not what they want, yet forces them to act. They also just happen to be non-binary. Doesn't need to be pointed out.

Her E1 gives 2 Energy to her target when she uses her Skill.

The only reason this exists is because Phainon gains one Coreflame (ultimate charge) whenever he's given Energy. It's useless for literally everyone else.
