"The exogenous cue captures attention to a future time point, such that the performance at that specific moment increases, while lowering performance at the unattended moments. Temporal uncertainty affects the benefits and costs of exogenous temporal attention."
Our paper is out! We show that a salient change in the environment can capture attention to a specific time point, such that the visual information
at that moment is involuntarily prioritized. And this improves visual performance under low, rather than high temporal uncertainty.
