I missed my connecting flight from Phoenix to San Jose because of that and the next flight is in morning with no hotel stay. I talked to the customer service representative at the airport and they didn't help us with anything for the inconvenience and wastage of our time.

@AmericanAir had the worst experience on my flight from Newark to San Jose via Phoenix. The flight at Newark didn't take off for 2 hrs citing thunderstorm warnings. There were no storms and literally no rain during the 1st hour of the delay and hardly 10-15 mins of rain after.

We were all seated inside the flight waiting when you could have allowed us to go outside and change our flights at Newark itself. We were just seating on our seat for 2 hours with no indication of what's happening.
