Lmao 2 issues

1) compare Waymo at the same time when they launched compare to Tesla. Tesla is dusting them

2) Waymo is already being surpassed in Austin by robotaxi. I believe they are even or Tesla just passed them in deployed cars

3) Waymo has about 4,000 active cars. Tesla is at 500 already I think. It is not hard for Tesla to catch up and outpace Waymo because:

a) no need to map the area in the same way as Waymo.

b) they can make 4,000 cyber cabs in a month if needed.

If you compare both companies at a similar age- Tesla is better. If you consider how long Waymo has been doing this- you just know Tesla is catching up fast. Doesn’t take a genius to see that every metric favors Tesla.

They have more data, cheaper cars, better supply chain expertise- it’s not even a competition

And after losing my highest paying client- less MRR for me.

I think it’s time to stop being a pussy and hit the phones and dial.

Going to focus on number of conversations not dials.

I don’t get to leave my laptop till 10, 20 , e.g. convos.

Elon has said himself Tesla has to take a safer than even normal approach because one fuck up for Tesla is way worse than any other company because of media bias. Thats why lol. You say growing from 558k week is easy but how long did Waymo take to do that? Tesla did it way faster bro.

Tesla has 0 supply chain issues rn. It’s up to them to decide how many to deploy. Waymo is constrained by mapping + bad supply chain.

This is true. Easy to double when you have 10 cars rather than 4,000. To this I’d say that Waymo has had all this time and got to about 4,000 units. For tesla- building the cars is not the bottleneck.

They can add 4,000 whenever they want. They are being more careful than Waymo because if they mess up- looks worse than Waymo.

Unit economics aren’t in favor of Waymo. I think Tesla will get to like 50k active robotqxis well before Waymo

1) Waymo doesn’t update weekly, so it’s the latest from each company.

2) if Tesla is about a quarter behind Waymo in terms of growth what does that say about Waymo? They don’t have unit economics and need to map every place.

Tesla is just better positioned to outpace Waymo. Even someone that owns an EV publication and spends 10 hour a day on this can see that right?

It’s pretty easy to map this out- Tesla admitted to turning off the cyber cab line because they’re ability to produce outpaces their ability to deploy.

This is entirely obvious. Waymo’s also drive like shit too.
