Morgan Stanley $TSLA analyst Andrew Percoco in new note:

"It's not even close. Tesla continues to lead in autonomous driving, even as Nvidia rolls out new technology aimed at helping other automakers build driverless systems."

Andrew pointed to Tesla’s large and active fleet as a key advantage. With millions of vehicles collecting real-world driving data each day, Tesla is able to train and improve its self-driving software at a pace rivals struggle to match.

Because of this data and scale edge, Andrew believes Tesla remains “years ahead” of competitors when it comes to autonomy. Morgan Stanley added that Nvidia’s latest advances do not materially change its Tesla outlook, as building a full self-driving stack is measured in years, not months.
