@TheSolarShed No, this isn't about you or your finger waving and bowing to different cultures, this is about some sections of society being allowed to carry deadly weapons when the rest can't even carry harmless pepper spray.
It would be a first marriage, not second. But no, no reason other than they don't believe in non sharia marriages.
Sharia marriages are the religious, legal and binding muslim marriage in many, many countries and many muslims just don't know the law especially non English speaking muslim women. Sharia courts in the UK do perform sharia divorces too.
@samali459@DavidLammy Why did you bring race into this? You are race baiting and should be fully ashamed of yourself. However it is not surprising.
As an aside, and something I don't care about, muslims also live together out of wedlock and have tonnes of children in the UK while not married.
Exactly, and also the point that marriage under sharia performed in the UK will now have the same legal protections actual married people do. At the moment under UK law sharia marriage is treated as girlfriend, girlfriend, girlfriend and boyfriend.
I see exactly what is going on as do the rest of the sane population.
@LozzaFox@SadiqKhan I hope the LGBTQ pro Palestine group give themselves a long hard look in the mirror. Being pro Palestine is in direct opposition to being LGBTQ +.
@sophielouisecc I don't agree with banning deadly weapons for sikhs. In the interests of equality we should all be allowed to carry. After all Keir Starmer said there is no two tier policing or laws, unless of course he was lying.
@JonathanWatson1@sophielouisecc Under UK law there is no size and no style of blade specified, a Kirpan in UK law can be any deadly and bladed knife to have a religious exemption if you're sikh.
@narindertweets And, yet still those 'ethnic minorities' just cannot bear to live without white people and come here, beg to be allowed here, in their millions. Either you're a liar or woefully uneducated.
