Democrats will stop at nothing to erase women.
House Bill 2062, sponsored by @lisa_llfink , was a straightforward clarification of Arizona’s laws regarding biological sex, ensuring that terms like "male," "female," "man," and "woman" are defined based on biological reality rather than subjective identity claims. The bill passed along strict party lines, with every Republican voting in favor and every Democrat opposing it.
The bill does three key things:
1. Defines commonly used terms in Arizona statutes according to their biological meanings.
2. Ensures that state-collected data on sex reflects biological reality.
3. Protects single-sex spaces by clarifying the legal definition of sex.
Rep. Stephanie Simacek’s response to the bill was nothing short of unhinged. She hysterically claimed that the bill would "erase trans people from existence" and "rescind the rights of women" simply because it affirms biological definitions that have existed for all of human history. According to Simacek, it's somehow “outdated” to define men and women based on their biological roles in reproduction—an absolutely absurd position detached from reality. Even @TMartinez4AZ had to step in with a Point of Order and remind her to keep it together and follow House rules.
In reality, HB2062 does nothing but ensure clarity in the law, protect spaces designated for women, and prevent the state from being forced to rewrite biological facts to appease an ideology. It does not erase trans people and it does not do any of the other ridiculous things alleged by the Democrats.
I was a @JosephChaplik voter and it's time for us to unite behind @jayfeely
Anti-Israel extremist Dr. Amish Shah can never be allowed to represent the most Jewish district in Arizona.
And we will defeat him in November.

The fact that overt antisemitism and hateful rhetoric from Planter was ignored by most DC Democrats and it took these horrific SA allegations to finally get them to distance themselves is sad
That man should've been dropped the moment he was exposed for having a Neo-Nazi tattoo
Our servicemembers put their lives on the line to defend YOUR right to vote — the least Arizona can do is make sure their ballots actually count.
Election integrity isn’t a talking point. It’s a promise to the people who put their lives on the line every day for our freedom. And in Arizona, we keep our promises. 🇺🇸 #AZLeg
Results matter.
HB2278 is now law. I fought to protect Arizona mining jobs, strengthen rural economies, support local businesses, and protect taxpayers.
That’s leadership—delivering results, not talking about them.

We had a bill pass the House and Senate to prevent the government from spending your tax dollars to make the sun less hot.
Governor Katie Hobbs vetoed it. Her argument against it was that it "focused on conspiracy theories."
Meanwhile, climate activists in her party want to do exactly that.
We can't keep dismissing serious legislation with political buzzwords.
I am proud to have co-sponsored this legislation with @LisaFink4AZ and @DrRalphHeap; and we look forward to @andybiggs4az signing a new version of it into law when he is elected.
Arizona Democrats tried to introduce a bill which would allow unelected bureaucrats to enact Green New Deal policies without a vote from the legislature or the voters.
We stopped it.
Serving in government isn't just about passing good laws. It's about stopping bad ones. #HB2356
