@Twitch@TwitchSupport
I know you don't care. But I'm sending this anyway. I was suspended last week for one day for the same reason - I appealed because I have done none of these things. I have not done anything listed in the description. I have not done anything in the examples. I have not violated the sexual content policies of Twitch.
Both times I was assembling a Lego Batmobile set while in Pools and Hot tubs and wearing a bikini. Before you start - yes I was in a bikini because people want to see me in a bikini. Obviously. I was in the designated category and doing nothing pornographic nor soliciting nor offering anything. Nothing anywhere in the guidelines or the examples in my suspension notice appeared at any point in my stream.
This is not about if you like women wearing bikinis for views. This is about the fact that I am a creator on your platform who just wants to be able to stream, so if you told me exactly what I did that I was banned for all I would do is not do it again.
That's it. I just want to know what I did so I can not do it again. Because I want to stream and whatever got me banned means I can't stream. So I'd just not do it.
Here's the problem: No one over there seems to have any clue as to why I was banned exactly. My appeal last time was rejected without an email even being sent to me that it was rejected. This appeal will probably go the same way. And the simple question of WHAT DID I DO SO I CAN NOT DO IT AGAIN is apparently impossible to answer.
I can't imagine why that would be the case. It would be extremely easy if whoever felt they had enough of a case to ban me has the evidence used to ban me just sent that evidence. Privately in an email. Publicly here. Anywhere. Any indication that there is an actual reason.
I'm not asking for much here at all. I'm not even asking for the suspension to be lifted because I am trusting that there is something I did which - while not listed in any of the guidelines or examples - was significant enough to warn it and a rejection of the appeal. Someone has to check to see if the ban is valid in order to reject an appeal right? So someone has the information on exactly what I did and why I was suspended.
Again. I just want to know what it was because I was standing there assembling a Lego set for 3 hours. In a bikini. That was all I did. No sexual acts (other than being an attractive woman in a bikini). Nothing suggestive (other than being an attractive woman in a bikini). Nothing that violates any known rules. I don't go out of my way to push any rules or boundaries. I'm not an 'edgy' creator. I just want to know what the actual rules are so I can follow them and be able to stream.
So if you wouldn't mind... can someone please contact me and tell me EXACTLY why I was banned so we don't have this problem again? And if there is no particular reason then... why was I banned? Do you ban just based on vibes? Was this an automated response to mass reporting? If that's the case then why would the appeals be rejected?
Why is X the best way to reach you because emails just get automated responses? Am I missing something?
