If you own a house worth US$400,000 in Zimbabwe, next year you will be US$4,000 poorer if the ZANUPF Hut Tax goes through.

If you are renting such a house, your annual rent will be US$4000 higher next year than it is this year.

My advice to Zimbabweans with money abroad is to buy houses in South Africa, they are modern, they are cheaper and there is order there including service delivery by councils for your rates!

This is the future of all homes in Southern Africa since National Governments have failed to expand energy generation.

I want to be part of this future by investing the little I have into projects that will make load shedding less painful for our people!

I will start a pilot project which will make profit but substantially reduce the cost of solar installations particularly in South Africa and Zimbabwe for ordinary people.

Most folks want to have these power alternatives, but they just don’t know how to go about it, I hope my vision will bring clarity and ease of getting things done!

We need to support all solar revolutions no matter how big or small, it helps that load shedding has opened our eyes.
