new backdoor method that leverages nmap with setuid permissions to execute commands as root through a Lua-loaded C library, I hope you enjoy it!

special thanks to @hackerfantastic for giving me some pointers to make this work
@timbislopez@Cypher1984 pues será que no hay manteiners de proyectos utilizados por millones de usuarios y que no viven de ello... recordemos lo que pasó recientemente con zx
I just published a project to encode data into invisible Unicode zero‑width characters with optional AES‑256‑CBC encryption and file support, repo here: https://t.co/b3Qn71CzMz
Por si quereis un pequeño teaser de cosillas que vamos a ver durante el taller, os dejo la ponencia que di en las jornadas de @CCNCERT

I've added to my linux backdoors gist a telnet backdoor technique leveraging CVE-2026-24061, authentication bypass vulnerability affecting inetutils-telnetd from 1.9.3 to 2.7, found and reported by Kyu Neushwaistein (Carlos Cortes Alvarez) on 2026-01-19 https://t.co/2emUXyHPUu
Christmas vibes in my lab today.
Built a tiny techno-tree, and my cat immediately claimed root access.
LEDs are blinking, pentester’s coffee is brewing, and the xmas mood is finally loading… 🎄✨

Today I'm very happy. I have traveled for many years from one place to another, without a proper chair... today I not only have a chair but also a piano to rest my head and eyes from the screen. I share this special moment with you all, my back will suffer no more 🥲
For sure not the best for hiding large files... In the future I'll develop other techniques for this, but for now I'm happy with the LSB steganography results
DISCLAIMER: I wouldn't recommend using it for very large files, and if you do, make sure you have enough RAM available
Now you can encrypt and hide any type of file in images using my lsbstego script
In my tests I was able to hide a 35MB binary file inside a 27MB PNG file and extract it successfully
You can download this cat picture and read the text btw!

In my final tests I wanted to see how far I could push it, so I tried with a massive 11500×11500px image. The processing took a while and a lot of RAM was used with something that large, but it worked. Many more MB were hidden than the weight of the image itself (130%)
