yeonjun is going to throw the first pitch for one of the most popular baseball teams worldwide and will even be performing (most likely make it count) the FIRST original tournament soundtrack for major league baseball which made him the FIRST and ONLY korean singer to participate in a world baseball classic soundtrack!
q. you once said "if you don't give up, you'll improve at everything” are there many areas where you've grown because you challenged yourself even when you wanted to give up?
🐱 more than anything else, it's singing.
i wasn't a member who was good at singing, nor did i have the skill to stand as a vocalist. i just worked hard because i liked it.
🐱 as you keep at it, you see people who improve faster than you, and people who started earlier and have gone further ahead.
🐱 at first, i really hated having "effort" as my talent. there were times i wished i'd been a bit more musically gifted instead.
but once i started thinking that effort is a good talent you can apply anywhere, i didn't really feel like giving up anymore.
🐱 since i debuted at a young age, i pay extra attention so as not to lose touch with basic life skills. i shouldn't be completely clueless. for example, if i got into a car accident, my first instinct would probably be to look for my manager. but i figured i should at least be able to handle something like that myself and that's why i've worked on becoming more independent
#funfact while yeonjun and taehyun have an equal number of collab/feature songs available on spotify, taehyun actually has one additional feature credit that is no longer available on the platform.
