@antisemitism Sadly she represents the modern day Jewish collaborators of the Holocaust era. They turned on "their people" too and didn't survive the Nazis either but lived just a smidgeon longer. Their voice was purged from history and forgotten forever as will Margolyes be. Very sad.

22 July 1942 | A transport of 931 Jews deported by the Germans from #Westerbork in the occupied Netherlands arrived at #Auschwitz.

After the arrival selection made by SS doctors 479 men & 297 women were registered in the camp as prisoners.

The remaining 155 people were murdered in a gas chamber. Among them were Roza Anholt-Delden and her daughter Christina.

23 July 1934 | A Belgian Jewish boy, Renè Reinhold, was born in Antwerp.

In September 1943 he was deported to #Auschwitz and murdered in a gas chamber.
