@HollowLeif The problem I have with people is how fast they are to complain about it. If you just commit to wanting to adjust and not complain, you realize it's not nearly as hard as people make it out to be. People absolutely hate the thought of putting in time or hard work to get better.

@jaycfurman @TheOmniLiberal The biggest issue with ppl like him to me is he talks a confident talk and claims he's a man of stats, but at the end of the day he's just following vibes and bias and manipulates stats for his own bias. He's propagandized to shit and it's so clear looking in.

@TheCartelDel There's some really great music OSTs on some games now, but there's such a terrible trend of using such generic "cinematic" style music all over the place and it's so forgettable and boring. The break beats and the jungle/D&B genre was such a vibe for gaming

@NightSkyKing_ @ProfNoctis Yeah, OG's humor was definitely through exaggerated animations in a slap-stick kinda way, which is less "cringe" in the same way we get in the 7R games. Even if the new humor is cringe in moments, like 95% of the rest of the game is really cool and tells the story I love from OG.

@CONEY * First part was just touching on how the pacing from doing a lot of optional stuff can be a little exhausting. The pacing's a very understandable critique of the game in some ways, where the OG is a lot quicker and snappier in story - which can feel more cohesive to the player

@CONEY The issue is that Re has SO much packed in that people feel the need to do all the optional stuff. Personally I just think content creators like that guy that do the nit-pick and shit on something for engagement is a cringe and uninteresting.

@CONEY There's plenty of goofy slap-stick moments around all the dark stuff OG. you could argue that OP post's scene used from Junon is actually incredibly forgettable in OG. I'd bet the notable "goofy/cringe" stuff is probably like <5% of the actual game in Remake/rebirth

@CONEY As for tone, while exaggerated on adaption - I don't think it's necessarily out of place. Between cloud taking a bubble bath w 20 men, Seph supermaning out of nib mansion, red dancing in shinra attire, the whole play at the golden saucer and cloud twirling around the stage.

@demgozellegs The problem is that people think they can just hold forward and mash and think that things will go in their favor. Or they just really want to beat it and progress really bad so the sheer desire tells their ego they deserve the W without actually learning the game or the fights.

@demgozellegs It's a little crazy to me, though not surprising. moorwing and splinter literally just requires a small amount of patience, maybe like 3 or 4 different patterns to identify, and a correlated response to the pattern. They're actually incredibly simple tbh.

@xaiver776 @mipexch_ I think it's this along with the combo of gathering silk/soul feels different too. You have to get full bar to heal several masks as opposed to getting 1/3 bar to heal one mask at a time. You can't just chip a small fry to get one healing to feel safe, like HK

@petalsforissa Low-key always been the right take. Riot is great in it's own way, but over the years my ears will crave and come back to Awkif and I rarely ever come back to Riot. Similar with BNE as well, where I think they sort of nail both sides of that angle in a way. Awkif > BNE > riot imo

@AesPolitics1 It's genuinely hilarious to see conservatives try to play whataboutisms for both sides on this. I'm not bound to any leader as some cult member. If you're actually a criminal who's done shit, rot in prison for all I care - this should always have been a nonpartisan thing.
