How to repair after conflict:
1. Make sure you’re in a calm, regulated state
2. Speak in “I” statements, not you. (I feel hurt when... rather than you always so x”
3. Listen, don’t interrupt
4. Take a break if you need one (just communicate that)
5. Validate their perspective even if you don’t agree
6. Own your role (apologize of needed)
7. Affirm your love or care
