Earlier this year I got the insane opportunity to go perform Somniomancer in front of almost 80,000 people at Arknight’s yearly stadium event, with a full choir and orchestra.

A month of creating a custom version, getting the orchestral and choir scores right, troubleshooting wardrobe and blocking, 4 days of rehearsals, then 8 shows in a row — It was intense work, but it was so worth it for the first time I got to emerge from the bottom of the stage on a grand piano and hear the deafening roar of ten thousand people excited to hear the song.

Thank you, Arknights, for bringing me out and giving me one of the coolest experiences of my life 🤍

Escapism can be a terribly harmful addiction that's never talked about.

It has an horrible domino effect. You start ignoring your issues, your health, your surroundings, your loved ones. You can develop social anxiety, your self-esteem goes down and your sex-drive can too. You start yearning for things in fiction you'll never have which can make you lose interest in reality.

The music video MeMeMe is partially about this and it's so accurate, the worst part is it creeps up on you until you realize you have become that guy from the MV. A.I chatbots have been contributing HEAVILY to this.

It becomes a cyclical oroboros where all the symptoms reinforce each other. It can ruin your life and can feel impossible to escape without outside help.
