New restrictions are always a bummer but I am delighted that they have tightened up on restaurants in hotels and now require covid cert. For anyone going away, especially with kids, it will be a relief to know all the adults around are vaccinated.

At work I encounter lots of accounts and incidences of really horrific child abuse. These people’s experiences have had an enduring impact on their lives.
Let’s not diminish that awfulness by saying that children wearing masks to protect health is child abuse. It really isn’t.
