The drug dealers you are looking for are in Sea Point, Camps Bay, Clifton, Sandton, etc.
They are not the ones who are also fighting for inclusion in a terrible job market or the ones who physically cross the border.
The real drug dealers & human traffickers travel by plane.
You're unemployed because of government
Crime is high because of government
Health care is under pressure because of government
There's no space in schools because of government
If the GNU was actually serious about governance these wouldn't be the huge problem they are now
At some point 'patriots' need to realize that documenting illegal migrants isn't granting citizenship and being against xenophobia isn't being for illegal immigration
We all want illegal immigration to be addressed. No one has ever advocated for illegal immigration. However, the narrative that foreigners are responsible for South Africa’s unemployment crisis is both misleading and dangerous. Hence we characterise it as Afrophobia because your target is a single race, Africans. Where are the illegal immigrant whites, chinese, indians?
The reality is that our biggest problems are corruption, poor governance, and the looting of public resources. Crime in South Africa is committed overwhelmingly by South Africans themselves, as highlighted by the findings of the Madlanga Commission. Why is Hangwani Maumela not arrested for looting of Tembisa Hospital funds?
Our hospitals are not overcrowded because of foreigners; they are under pressure because of years of underinvestment, mismanagement, and corruption. While ordinary people struggle to access basic services, tenderpreneurs and corrupt officials continue to enrich themselves at the expense of the public. when last have you been to Local clinics? there are no medicines at all and its not because of foreigners but poor management.
South Africa’s challenges will not be solved by scapegoating foreigners. They will be solved by holding leaders accountable, rooting out corruption, creating jobs, and ensuring that public funds are used for the benefit of the people rather than for the enrichment of a connected few.
I would have understood march for marchs position if the people they were harassing were government heads, home affairs officers, manufacturers, business owners and boarder control. You are attacking the wrong people.
BAs bandwagoning this shit is even more ironic considering that they were complaining about African immigrants ‘taking brand deals from them’ not so long ago. I saw the full extent of this conversation on TikTok. They remind us every week that we ‘are African’ and ‘not black’.
I'm sorry but for DA leaders to act contrite AFTER the fact we all saw the disgusting attacks from DA supporters in your comments and quote tweeting.
Not one of them said a thing then.
@AishaDaughter People tend to forget in all of this is that it's a specific group of people who support such movements be it a large group or small group just like in the UK, like in Ghana just because members of said group are SAN doesn't mean they represent a whole people
I once asked a journalist why don’t they report on DA Cape Town as harshly as they do the ANC and they said that the ANC takes criticism the DA threatens your livelihood and actual life. That’s why that party must never see the light of day in these upcoming elections.
