🚨 Kolkata-based B100M Computer (@b100mcomputer) has built the B100M Mobile Device, an AR headset prototype developed from scratch in India.
It runs the startup’s own B26 operating system, which supports hand and voice controls and is designed to run AI models locally.
Today, we are showing a first glimpse of B26 OS, the proprietary, general-purpose indigenous operating system built by B100M Computer (Bloom). We are deeply grateful to @iTICIncubator and everyone supporting this journey. This is just the tip of the iceberg.
I’ve been away building something I’ve been dreaming about for a long time. I’m proud to share the Bloom Mobile Prototype with you.
What you’re seeing is a glimpse of what’s possible. Built under B100M Computer (pronounced Bloom Computer), the Bloom Mobile Prototype runs B26 Mobile OS, designed from the ground up for a world beyond screens. The goal is to reimagine mobile computing as intuitive, ambient, and present. The long term vision is RISC-V silicon powering the full B26 OS ecosystem. Thank you to @CyrilDeaconoff, who created the boot-up sound and auditory feedback for the B26 Mobile OS. You brought your musical magic into the B26 Mobile experience.
Heartfelt thanks to the iTIC Incubator at IITH and its entire team for believing in this vision, along with the Department of Science and Technology’s hashtag #DST (Government of India) Nidhi Prayas program for providing the opportunity to build this prototype. I’m now proud to be an alum of iTIC. And to the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India @narendramodi, thank you for enabling programs that let ideas like this to bloom.
