Metro Boomin lists Ye’s The College Dropout among his top four greatest albums of all time and says it helped shift hip-hop away from early-2000s gangster rap. 🔥
He also names “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” as the beat that best describes him:
“Where do I start? … It’s just mind-blowing. It’s laid back, but it’s still intricate.”

Ye is back outside and his new Yeezy footwear is back in stores.
On Thursday (Aug. 13), shoe store JD Sports announced an exclusive collab with the rap star via a collection they are calling "The New Uniform." The collection includes two pairs of slides in various colorways (which currently appear to be sold out), two pairs of casual shoes and a bulky sandal. Prices for the casual shoes and sandals range from $66-$108.
The new drop comes after Ye previewed his new Yeezy 800 sneaker earlier this month.
