@hubrootbuilds Would add #6: you're answering the same pre-sale questions all day. Often the easiest one to fix: put the answers on the site and let an assistant handle the repeats, so you only step in for the real conversations.

@GTSmoz Ouch. .co is one of the worst for this: cheap first year, then renewals often 5-7x that. Before renewing, compare the renewal price at a couple of other registrars. A transfer usually adds a year at their price and you keep the domain. Check the renewal price, not the first year.

@toddsaunders Good PSA. Quick check for any owner who gets one of these: look up your domain's real registrar (a free WHOIS lookup shows it) and only ever renew from inside that account. A real renewal never comes as a letter from a company you've never heard of.
