𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 has opened a formal investigation into far-left streamer 𝐇𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐫 and the co-founders of 𝐂𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐤 over their March trip to Cuba — billed as a humanitarian aid mission, but which prosecutors and congressional investigators now allege functioned as a propaganda operation on behalf of the Cuban communist regime, in violation of U.S. sanctions law.

Per the report, Piker and his fellow activists used the trip to promote the regime and protest the U.S. embargo, while staying in luxury hotels and meeting with communist officials even as ordinary Cubans grappled with the regime's deepening economic collapse. Piker's on-camera position throughout has been that the Cuban people's hardship is the fault of — who else — President Trump.

This now stacks on top of the Treasury Department's OFAC subpoena to Piker and CodePink's Medea Benjamin over the same trip. Add the Asra Nomani Fox investigation into the Singham nonprofit network funding most of the protest infrastructure these activists work inside, and you have four federal touchpoints converging on one operation.

Read what that means. The federal government is no longer treating the CodePink-Piker-Singham apparatus as ordinary activism. It is treating it as 𝐚 𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞, a foreign-influence case, and a nonprofit-fraud case — in parallel.
