B4 are having a fun filled day! Thank you all for your kindness, generosity and caring attitude towards us. It has been a privilege teaching your children this term and we cannot wait to get back and hear all you did during the next two weeks!
This week, we have finished our DT product! Here is the first step: designing our 3D nets. As you can see, we used a ruler to measure our decorations before tailoring our 3D grid to their dimensions.
Exploring materials and examples of packaging is a key step before we can create our packaging for winter decorations. Looking at cons and pros has helped us decide we will use card to make packaging during this DT unit.
We had a fabulous time at Cineworld watching Kensuke’s Kingdom! We came back to school and compared the book and the film. We also learnt about how cartoon movies are made and created a storyboard to show an alternative ending!
Last walk to the swimming pool this year! We are grateful for an amazing teacher and super fun and safe learning. So proud of B4 and their progress in just a few short weeks!
Drafting and editing is a lengthy process but definitely worth it. Checking our punctuation, making sure we note technical words’ spellings and highlighting success criteria are some of the steps involved in editing.
Today we took learning outdoors with Mrs Rook’s support and worked on our decorations. There are part of our DT unit and this term our task is to create packaging for them!
Tear 4 are having our second Outdoor Learning session tomorrow. It will be a cold one because we won’t be very active and instead, we will be making something! Please bring a warm coat (even if you don’t normally get cold) and wellies or a second pair of shoes with extra socks🌻
This week’s Spanish lesson was all about greetings and introducing ourselves.
Hola, ¿cómo te llamas?
Me llamo Elena.
¡Buenos días, Jorge!
Notice anything about Spanish punctuation?
Good morning @m4bpef and B4! If you had a chance to sort out wellies or old shoes+socks don’t forget to bring them for our exciting outdoor learning session 🌈 today and next Friday 🤓
