@alprazosam18 That sounds amazing. We have 2 RPhs and 5 techs and 2 cashiers but we do 400-600+ daily. I don't ever have to worry about getting my steps! But I'm always physically & mentally exhausted after my shifts.

@CrazyCatLadyRPh If they tell someone they can fill control early make them stand next to you and tell the patient, "I'm sorry for giving you misinformation. I was mistaken & it won't happen again."

@CrazyCatLadyRPh Make them answer to the patient. When they OOS & don't order go, "Well, X will be the one to help you with that since they out of stocked it." Don't cover for them. When they're forced to clean up after themselves they'll be less likely to continue making a mess.

Fill everything with rf that the insurance will allow & put a note in that pt said to "fill everything". So when they call later & go "I didn't need these 3!" - I can go, "Well you said fill everything!" 🤷

@grahamcmackenzi I can't. I don't have the authority. All techs are allowed to order & my manager won't address it. (I've brought it to her attention several times). The person doing it is one of her hires & when I bring it up I'm accused of picking on her & not being a team player *sigh* 🤷

I just want to punch my co-workers. Who the fuck orders a 1,000 count bottle of brand name Synthroid?!? This is on top of the TWELVE bottles of 30 count Tradjenta 5mg someone ordered. I can't remember the last time we dispensed one. I wanna look it up after lunch but I may cry.

@Lisa09332644 Oh they opened the Synthroid! I flat out refuse to send stuff back bc my mgr refuses to address those ordering in excess things we rarely dispense. If she wants credit for them she can have them clean up their own mess.

@EstCoastPhoenix We don't have that many patients who use brand name Synthroid. 2 (90 count) bottles of each strength is usually plenty for us. That bottle will expire before we even use half that 😒
