@RevRyeBread i love superheroes. i was even a fan of mha for its first few seasons! i know that there's some issues that 99% of the genre fail to address properly, not just mha. but having seen where it ended up, and all the ways it failed to deliver on its promises, i wouldn't rec it to ppl

@RevRyeBread imo it goes deeper because it's not just the inherent assumptions that go unmentioned in most superhero media, mha is trying to make it A Big Theme of the story and thus puts its failures to examine its own story properly front-and-center

@RevRyeBread if you really wanna watch, technically you shouldn't have too many problems understanding them aside from a couple side characters who were cut from the 90's continuity; ultimately they Are the same sailor senshi. ngl i would just read the manga instead tho

@RevRyeBread the new ones are all in the sailor moon crystal continuity (aka eternal aka cosmos bc toei just fucked it up real bad) which is an adaptation of the manga. eternal and cosmos are both 2-part movies but honestly i don't think i can recommend either 2-parter😭
