@Victor_UmBongo @andrew_lilico@RachelReevesMP Not really, any significant slowing of the growth rate could be called a crash with varying levels of credibility. The exact wording isn’t important, it captures a concept that people relate to (a decrease in their living standards), and it does so quickly and simply
@JohnColoradoGuy @KatieKmucha @MalesInDisguise Completely separate issue (which I would almost certainly agree with you on). The specific point I’m making is there’s no benefit to anyone to be cruel about their appearance, it won’t change their behaviour in the way you think would benefit them, it’ll just make them miserable.
@coachware3755 @KatieKmucha @MalesInDisguise As any person familiar with psychology will tell you, the (correct) mind/brain distinction you allude to above is only part of the story, genetics also plays a role. Those that are dealt bad hands generically shouldn’t be bullied for that.
@KatieKmucha @MalesInDisguise Even the people that from a very young age experience gender dysphoria, as has been a know phenomena for centuries? Seems cruel to mock them for having a specific mental health issue.
@KatieKmucha @MalesInDisguise If someone wants to look a certain way what’s it got to do with you? There are many ways to say mean things about anyone’s appearance, but you can easily not do that-you should take that option.
@KatyMontgomerie I agree that if the person can’t tell that their career is trans then it is unlikely to matter whether they’re told outside the brains of deranged terfs. However, surely the idea of a magical inherent gender soul more accurately describes the pro trans side of the movement?
@seektruth234@mattletiss7 I admired him as a player, but he doesn’t know what he’s talking about when it comes to topics outside of football. These things are complex but he treats them as simple. To believe him you must think the ‘goverment is out to get everyone’, he’s never explained why they would be?
