Changing lives

[The Believers Community @b_comm_NMU]

Confessions are not mantras, neither are they random motivational words.

The word of God is life and we are renewed by it as we keep them in our hearts and on our lips.
Here's our fellowship confession

The sovereignty of God is not merely a doctrine to be studied; it is a comfort to be embraced.

When we know that our God reigns, we can rest in His perfect wisdom, trust His unfailing purposes, and worship Him with confidence.

A blessed time in God's presence as we were reminded that the heartbeat of evangelism is this: that through us, the knowledge of God's glory would fill the earth as the waters cover the sea.

Every true doctrine begins with God.

The more clearly we see Him as He has revealed Himself in Scripture, the more we are humbled, transformed, and compelled to worship.

Here's a recap of what we learnt on Monday.

A glimpse into our time together as we began our series, This Our God.
The God of Scripture is not a God to be imagined but One who has revealed Himself. As we behold Him rightly, our worship is purified, our faith is strengthened, and our hearts are drawn to Him.

Different gifts. One Spirit. Different functions. One body. Different members. One Christ.

[The Believers Community @b_comm_NMU]

A blessed time in God's presence as we considered The Church and The Gifts of the Spirit from 1 Corinthians 12.

Though diverse in gifting, we are one body in Christ, called to serve one another in love and faithfulness.

Our hope is not in the things we see, but in Christ and the glorious inheritance that awaits all who are in Him.

[The Believers Community @b_comm_NMU]

A blessed time of fellowship as we considered "The Hope of Our Calling" and were reminded that God's promises are sure, His purpose is certain, and our future in Christ is secure.
