1. 최근 지캐시 갑자기 네트워크 뻗었다는 뉴스가 나옴

2. 알고보니 네트워크가 뻗은건 아니었음

3. 그럼에도 실제로 지캐시 스캔상으론 4시간 이상 블록생성이 멈춘 것으로 나오고, 일부 지갑에서 전송등의 기능이 먹통이었음

4. 트위터에서 유명한 개발자, Mert는 이에 대해 실제 확인도 해보지 않은 FUD 취급하며, 아무튼 지캐시 네트워크는 멈춘적이 없고 작동하지 않은 것들은 저질 노드에 연결되었기 때문이라 설명

5. 사실은 지캐시에서 치명적인 보안문제가 발견 (내부적으로 발견)

6. 복잡하고 새로운 방식의 기술을 도입한 새로운 실디드풀(Orchard) 에서 버그가 발생한 것. 약 25억달러 규모의 풀 안에서 같은 ZEC를 여러번 복제가 가능한 버그로, 결과적으로 실제 버그악용은 없었다고 함

7. 팀은 이것을 긴급히 패치했고, 이전에 나왔던 네트워크 다운등의 오해는 이래서 생겼던 해프닝 (다른 팀은 몰랐던 것)

8. 팀은 픽스후 관련 내용을 트위터에 공개, 해당 내용을 확인한 사람들의 패닉셀이 이어져 지캐시가 크게 하락 (약 40%)

9. 최근 지캐시를 샀다던 사람들에 대한 조롱, 이미 팔았다는 글, 지캐시 망했다는 글, 그외 갑론을박 등이 트위터를 뜨겁게 달구는 중 (현재 진행형)

The latest [email protected] now pulls in [email protected], a package that did not exist before today. This is a live compromise.

This is textbook supply chain installer malware. axios has 100M+ weekly downloads. Every npm install pulling the latest version is potentially compromised right now.

Socket AI analysis confirms this is malware. plain-crypto-js is an obfuscated dropper/loader that:

• Deobfuscates embedded payloads and operational strings at runtime
• Dynamically loads fs, os, and execSync to evade static analysis
• Executes decoded shell commands
• Stages and copies payload files into OS temp and Windows ProgramData directories
• Deletes and renames artifacts post-execution to destroy forensic evidence

If you use axios, pin your version immediately and audit your lockfiles. Do not upgrade.
