The thinner tree was cut years ago and the big one has been holding and feeding it since then. They "wake up" together in the spring and "go to sleep" together in the autumn.

Young people today don’t realise how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to stand up and walk 3 meters to the television to change the channel and there was a 50% chance the static from the shag pile rug, I had to wade through would give me an electric shock when doing so.

As schools revamp their curriculum post-pandemic, are they considering mandatory mental health classes? We grew up with no such awareness - our loss - but shouldn’t our children learn about depression, personality/eating disorders, anxiety, coping skills etc? Isn’t that progress?
