I am very excited to share this resource with teachers and leaders of @EvergreenCSSD Ten Days of Truth THEN Reconciliation, is a K-12 resource designed like a calendar, giving one idea, activity, video, or resource a day for each day leading up to September 30th.
Children cannot be forced to "calm down". They aren't choosing to be hyper/hypoaroused any more than they can choose to calm down when they don't know how. #SelfReg gives them the tools and skills to do that.

So, drop those shoulders. Don’t miss the moments meant to fill your souls. You deserve every nap, glass of wine, extra chapter on a lawn-chair that you can put together.
Beware the narrative of “learning loss”. Will there be an impact of learning through a pandemic on students? You bet! Appropriately funded, locally developed responses will be key to addressing this equitably for all students.
