My midterm group just virtually met for two hours to work on our project. It was weird not to be in the same room as my lovely 350 peers, but it did not stop us from accomplishing what needed to be done! #ENG350

Yes, Jalyn! Yesterday I was talking about I used to sit and stare at a book and periodically flip the pages. Students need to see good reading techniques being practiced rather than just be expected to already know HOW to read. #ENG350

Passion blogging is easily something that can be turned into a multi-genre project for students! I love the creative autonomy this allows. #ENG350

Right off the bat, G & K make an excellent point about how more grading does not mean that learning is occurring (106). It's a shame that we live in such a grade-hungry world. Let teachers teach! #ENG350

I definitely feel you on this one. I always try to remind myself that I will not be a perfect teacher...and that's totally fine! I will struggle and things might not go according to plan, but it surely won't be because of a lack of passion/effort. #ENG350

I love to see educators take initiative on finding texts that inspire their students. Sometimes teachers teach the same text because it's tradition. If something is not working anymore, fix it. #ENG350
